ABOUT WE CARE TOGETHER

A Southampton care team built around relationships and personalised support

We Care Together is a local care agency in Southampton, established by two women with more than 40 years of combined experience in the care sector.

The business was created around a clear belief: good care should be personal.

We take time to understand the people we support, their routines, preferences and the things that matter to them. This allows our carers to provide practical assistance while also building genuine relationships with the individuals and families they work with.

Today, We Care Together provides a range of personalised home care services, helping people receive the support they need while remaining in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.

Meet the seniors

The senior team helps guide We Care Together and supports the delivery of personalised care across the organisation.

With extensive combined experience in the care sector, they bring practical knowledge of care provision alongside the values on which We Care Together was founded.

Meet the office team

Our office team works behind the scenes to help coordinate care, support our carers and respond to clients and their families.

They play an important role in helping care arrangements run smoothly and ensuring there is a familiar team available when clients or relatives need to speak to us.

OUR CARE TEAM

Every person who receives care from We Care Together has their own routines, preferences, interests and way of doing things. That is why we do not believe care should ever feel like simply working through a list of tasks.

Before and throughout your care, we take time to understand the support you need, what you prefer to do independently and how you would like your carers to help. Your care plan is shaped around you, helping our team provide support that fits naturally into your everyday life.

Good care is about more than practical support. The relationship between a carer and the person they support matters too, which is why companionship is a natural part of the care we provide.

That might mean sharing a conversation over a cup of tea, taking an interest in a favourite hobby, listening to stories or simply providing familiar company during a visit. By getting to know you properly, our carers can provide support that feels more personal, comfortable and reassuring.

As your circumstances change, your care can be reviewed and adapted so it continues to reflect your needs, preferences and routines.

Our aim is always to help you feel valued, listened to and respected, with care that feels personal rather than rushed or routine.

CARE THAT STARTS WITH

OUR APPROACH TO CARE

Personalised support

Care is planned around the individual rather than applying the same routine to everyone.

Dignity and respect

We recognise that accepting support at home can be a significant change. Our carers provide personal and practical assistance sensitively while respecting privacy, choices and independence.

Genuine relationships

We encourage carers to take time to get to know the people they support, helping familiar and trusting relationships develop.

Independence

Our role is to provide help where it is needed while supporting people to continue doing as much as possible for themselves.

Compassion

Care should feel human. We listen, communicate and take an interest in the individual rather than focusing solely on completing practical tasks.

Flexibility

Needs and circumstances can change, so care plans can be reviewed and adjusted when required.
